Summit Area Public Foundation
Created 35 years ago, the Summit Area Public Foundation is one of the oldest public foundations operating in New Jersey and is widely respected for its support of a broad range of non-profit organizations in Summit and the surrounding community. Summit Area Public Foundation made its first gift to the school nearly 25 years ago and has continued to be deeply involved in the school’s commitment to providing area children with an auditory/oral education.
Michele Hedley is a long-time friend and supporter of Summit Speech School and has served on both the Board of Trustees and the Spring Benefit Committee, providing volunteer leadership to a range of fundraising initiatives. Mrs. Hedley is a valued and active member of the broader philanthropic community in New Jersey and Massachusetts.
