Volunteer

Summit Speech School is always looking for new volunteers to help us with our mission to empower children with hearing loss to become effective communicators using Listening and Spoken Language. With support from families and professionals, there are no limits to our children reaching their fullest potential in their homes, schools, and communities, and becoming lifelong learners.

Below you will find some examples of volunteer opportunities at Summit Speech School.

Spring Benefit Committee

Help us plan, organize and secure donations for our biggest fundraiser of the year, held each Spring. Committee members are requested to attend committee meetings, held once per month Oct-May.

Fall Golf Outing Committee

Help us plan, organize and secure donations for our newest fundraising event – a golf outing and dinner with auction coming up in September. Committee members are requested to attend committee meetings, held once per month May-Sept. Knowledge of golf rules a plus!

Walk4Hearing Walker

Join us at the HLAA sponsored Walk4Hearing held each Fall at Mercer County Park in West Windsor Township. Help raise funds by creating a “walker page” by asking for donations from sponsors.
