Q & A for Parents

Questions answered by our itinerant teachers.

What does TOD stand for?

What does a TOD do?

I love my child’s Summit Speech School TOD! Will they get the same TOD every school year?

How is a TOD different than an SLP?  Does my child need both?

If I feel my child needs TOD services, how can I get that ball rolling?

What accommodations does my child need?  (i.e. cart, notetakers, DM system, etc.)

I want my child to meet/interact with other students with hearing loss.  What do you recommend?

How does my child’s TOD keep track of my child’s progress?

I want to make my home the best possible learning environment during virtual instruction.  What can I do?
