Our Teachers of the Deaf understand the neuroscience of hearing and the scaffolds required for a student to increase Listening and Spoken Language competencies. To optimize a student’s access to learning, our Teachers of the Deaf work with students and district staff to improve:
- Auditory Attention Detection
- Memory Discrimination
- Auditory Recognition, Sequencing and Comprehension
- Auditory Retrieval and Expressive Communication
As a result, students are able to remain in their home school district and thrive.
